Furniture - Tom Dixon

In the mid-1970s, this British designer used to make pottery; that contributed to his sense for material and shaping. He would express his creativity through music, and his love for motorcycles encouraged him to use their old parts to make furniture. His talent and interest in design resulted in the cult-status S-shaped chair, one of his first creations. Today, Tom Dixon is represented by the company that bears his name, which specializes in designing lighting, furniture and various home accessories.
