Avio, designed by Piero Lissoni, is the new, contemporary and versatile sofa component system, to reinterpret and make better use of any type of space. It is ideal for those who appreciate solid, elegant design that epitomizes a comfortable, relaxed lifestyle.
FEATURES
Avio is built as a supporting structure: a steel truss fitted with ‘fingers’ to support seats, backrests, tables. This framework transforms into a flexible system that can give rise to an almost endless number of benches, two- seaters, three-seaters, chaise longues and tabletops. The padding ensures maximum comfort. It can be dressed up in leather or fabric and can accommodate cushions. It has a pure and precise beauty, and is ideal for any purpose: resting, conversing, reading, listening to music, sleeping, watching a film, having an aperitif..
Frame: Seats and tables suspended on a central beam structure of heavy gauge tubular steel, interconnected and attached to the legs.
Upholstery: Seats are attached via individual frames; cushions have variable density foam with polyester fiberfills. Slip covers are removable.
Pillow: Down-filled pillows in fabric or leather.
Finishes: Metal frame in aluminum or black painted, bright chrome base. Upholstery in various fabrics or Spinneybeck leather.
News 2017: Avio now offers a compact version with additional mechanisms and asymmetric elements.
