Description
Designed by the eclectic Japanese studio Nendo, led by Oki Sato, Tape is a collection of seats distinguished by its light silhouette and strong personality. The range includes armchairs (with and without armrests), lounge armchairs, bergères, two- and three-seater sofas, and ottomans.
With a distinctive and ironic approach, Nendo reimagines the traditional notion of support feet, placing them externally to the seat's body. The name Tape pays homage to the couture detail resembling a ribbon that elegantly holds the Bronze-colored metal feet, celebrating Minotti's sartorial craftsmanship.
The soft curves of the shell design create an inviting armrest and house a plush back cushion, emphasizing the chair's enveloping lines. Tape is customizable with a wide array of leather and fabric options. It offers two pairing styles: one where the back and seat cushion are upholstered in fabric while the shell and tape detail are in matching leather; the other features fabric covering the entire shell, with the tape detail in Bronze-colored saddle-hide.
With its striking formal identity and impeccable proportions, Tape becomes a focal point in any space, suitable for both residential and hospitality settings.
