Description

Giampiero Tagliaferri's Coupé sofa stands out with its rounded, overlapping volumes inspired by the designs of the 60s and 70s. Its ergonomic, sloping seating surfaces offer a high level of comfort, while refined details such as the tone-on-tone stitching in the leather version reflect the superior craftsmanship.

The strong horizontal line of the headrest and lumbar cushions creates a dynamic silhouette, while the aluminum frame at the front and back further emphasizes the shape and protects the upholstery. The system offers numerous configurations – from standalone elements to complex compositions – and combines the nostalgia of past decades with modern functionality.

The Coupé sofa has a plywood construction, with the seat tilt optimized for maximum comfort. The seat is filled with polyurethane foam of various densities and spring pockets for extra support and durability. The backrests and headrest are also upholstered in high-resilience foam, further softened with fibers laminated to anti-allergic cotton fabric.

The covers (fabric or leather) are completely removable, and the aluminum base at the front and back – available in brushed, lacquered or polished finishes – protects and aesthetically enhances the shape of the sofa. The additional cushions are filled with sterilized goose feathers (Assopiuma Gold Label), and the larger models also include a polyurethane core for support. The sofa can be partially disassembled for easier transport and maintenance.
