Description
Named after the city of trees, Sendai features a collection of furniture pieces, including a small sofa, an armchair, a lounge armchair, and dining and lounge little armchairs. Elegant, polished legs in Canaletto walnut stained Light Brown or Licorice lacquered ash create a soft rhythm of vertical lines, lifting the enveloping upholstered body. The option for a 360° swivel version adds comfort, making Sendai ideal for residential and hospitality settings. Its compact silhouette redefines dining spaces, allowing for a living room atmosphere where guests can socialize around a lounge table. In 2023, the Sendai family expands to include a new enveloping sofa, a swivel armchair with armrests, and a footstool, enhancing comfort with a higher backrest and satisfying relaxation.
Technical Information:
Structure: Metal frame coated in fire-resistant polyurethane foam, covered with breathable, hypoallergenic fiber. Plywood platform with a temperature-sensitive variable-density insert, upper side in breathable cotton fabric bearing the Minotti logo.
Cushions: Seat cushion in high resilience, variable-density polyurethane foam encased in breathable heat-bonded fiber laminated to hypoallergenic cotton fabric. Swivel version: Base in polished Bronze-coloured varnished metal, with 12 mm thick solid ash spokes in Licorice lacquer or Canaletto walnut stained Light Brown, equipped with black protective felt slides or polyethylene glides.
Covers: Removable upholstery for cushions and frame in all versions (fabric and leather). Fixed version: Load-bearing structure in solid ash or Canaletto walnut, crafted on CNC machines and assembled with dowel joinery and glue, also equipped with protective slides.
