Description
Atollo, designed in 1977 by Vico Magistretti, has become the archetype of the table lamp. Winner of the Compasso d'Oro award in 1979, it completely changed the way we imagine a classic bedside lamp. The geometric shapes that make it up – cylinder, cone and hemisphere – have resulted in a product that is both decorative and essential, independent of historical periods and passing trends, and today has become a full-fledged icon of Italian design.
