Description
The armchair, sculptural and striking in character, reinterprets the spirit of the 1970s through an organic, enveloping form. Soft and fluid lines create a full, rounded shape that stands out in space as a strong design element.
A tubular metal structure with a cantilevered support follows the armchair's silhouette with an elegant and dynamic line. Deliberately left visible, it becomes an important aesthetic detail and gives the seat a slight elasticity and a sense of lightness.
A continuous, richly upholstered rounded element embraces the back of the armchair and harmoniously wraps around the seat. Seams at a 45-degree angle, accentuated by subtle folds, further emphasize its refined sculptural quality.
The backrest and seat are designed as two separate cushions with a slender outline but luxurious proportions, conceived for comfort and a sense of pleasant seclusion. Versatile and adaptable, Barrel fits equally well into contemporary and eclectic interiors, while the accompanying footrest completes the impression of total relaxation.
