MARSALIS SOFA BED

Design sofa bed with slatted base and a pull-out mattress with Lampolet extraction mechanism. 2/3 seater, with slim armrests, available in fabric, leather, or faux leather. Marsalis is a design 2/3 seater sofa bed with slatted base and mattress (French double or standard double), also available as an armchair that converts into a single bed. Thanks to the patented Lampolet mechanism, opening the sleeping surface is really simple: just remove the seat cushions and pull the seats towards you to reveal a 200 cm long resting surface, ready to use and easy to fold back.

Designed by Christophe Pillet for Milano Bedding, Marsalis is characterized by the minimalist design of its space-saving structure, which is further reduced to make the model stylistically light, even in the convertible version. Characterized by slim armrests and high metal feet, the austere appearance of the shell contrasts with a comfortable and cozy seat, upholstered in polyurethane foam and made informal by a depth of almost 110 cm. Additional back cushions and side roll cushions are available as options for those who prefer a more composed and formal posture.

Highly customizable, Marsalis is available in fabric, leather, or faux leather in any color from the Sample Page. When fully finished, the sofa can also be placed in the center of a room, in the middle of a living room, or in an open space used as a sleeping area. Frame: High-strength cold-drawn steel tube, epoxy powder-coated; beech wood slats; solid fir, poplar plywood, hardboard. Seat: Webbing; expanded polyurethane foam 35 kg/m³ with PL fiber and quilted interliner. Back: Expanded polyurethane foam 25 kg/m³ with PL fiber and quilted interliner. Padding: Soft seat with Olmosoff foam; standard mattress with expanded polyurethane foam, PL stretch fabric, and polyester fiber. Feet: Metal, epoxy baked painted.

MATERIAL AND SPECIFICATIONS:

Mechanism: high-strength cold drawn steel tube, painted with epoxy powder, two folds, front opening in two movements by extraction of the seat. Orthopedic bed with beech wood slats. Seat made with webbing.

Standard mattress: expanded polyurethane foam 35 Kg/m3 CMHR covered on both sides with 100% PL stretch fabric quilted with 100% polyester fiber 200 g/m2 and nonwoven.

Frame: solid fir, poplar plywood, hardboard.

Padding

"Soft" seat: expanded polyurethane foam 35 kg/m³ +Olmosoff 35 kg/m³, covered with PL fibre 200 g/m2 and 2,5 mm quilted interliner.

Back: expanded polyurethane foam 25 kg/m³, coveredwith PL fibre 300 g/m2 and 2,5 mm quilted interliner.

Frame: expanded polyurethane foam 40 kg/m³, covered with PL fibre 100 g/m2 and interliner.

Feet: metal epoxy baked painted.
