Description
Designed by Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27, the Superquadra furniture line takes its name from Lúcio Costa and Oscar Niemeyer's 1956 urban planning pilot project for a residential neighborhood in Brazil, conceived as a series of basic prefabricated houses.
The square volumes of famous buildings, floating on slender columns (pilotis), are reinterpreted to characterize the chests of drawers, benches, coffee tables, consoles and other elements of the Superquadra family. The architectural silhouette that characterizes the airy volumes of the storage units is translated into the graphic minimalism of the line.
The elements rest on a base with protruding legs in aluminium with a polished brandy finish, giving the products an exceptional lightness of appearance. The discreet design is brought to life by a mix of high-quality materials – marble, wood, fabric and leather – used for the shelves and seats, interpreted in a contemporary, textured style. With Superquadro, Marcio Kogan confirms the identity of a style rooted in the 1950s, balancing the characteristics of the past and the present.
BENCHES:
Available in heights of 34 and 42 cm, in four versions:

fully upholstered in fabric or leather (126x128 cm)

with pillow next to Santos rosewood panel in dark brown color (126x128 cm)

with cushion next to a slab of Calacatta or Sahara Noir marble (182x58 cm)

with two panels: wooden + Calacatta, or wooden + Sahara Noir marble (182x102 cm)
Legs:
Aluminum, 15 mm thick, lacquered in polished Brandy color. On models Ø120, Ø140, 120x120, 180x110 and on the console (with eucalyptus or lacquered panel), the upper part of the leg is protruding on the surface.
Black protective ABS sliders.
