Description
The Muecke table stands out with its rhythmic repetition of simple shapes and celebrates the natural beauty of wood. Designed from cylindrical wooden slats supporting a thin wooden board, the table reveals and emphasizes all the characteristics of the material, including the end grains, often hidden in traditional woodworking.
Designer Jonathan Muecke, known for his work at the intersection of design and sculpture, approaches materials with the aim of revealing their inner logic. Through a special joining technique – floating tenon joint – the slats are joined at the points where they intersect, creating structural and visual harmony.
