Description
Designed by Hans J. Wegner, the Ox Chair is an iconic statement piece with an indisputable presence. A bold, sculptural chair that challenged the understated aesthetics of Danish design at the time, it features a distinctive headrest referencing ox horns and a voluminous body. It demonstrates Wegner’s organic, artistic approach to furniture and his desire to redefine traditional seating.
Material:
Upholstery: Fully upholstered in fabric or leather.
Inner Frame: Solid wood with molded cold-cured foam.
Pads: Neck and armrest with piping, available in leather contrasting with fabric.
Base: Stainless steel.
Steel Frame: Black or brushed stainless steel.
Fabric Options: Wool, bouclé, linen & soft unions, velvet.
